We have found that very many people fail to claim their full entitlement, hardly surprising as the tax credit system is not easily understood. There are many factors that could mean you are not getting all the money due to you:

   - changing income or childcare costs

   - redundancy

   - pension contributions

   - self-employment income

And in our experience the amounts can be significant. Missed entitlements of £1,500 are common.
