Students can get often get a tax refund from the Inland Revenue for tax paid on their part-time jobs, holiday jobs and placements. We have a great service that means you'll get your refund quickly and hold on to most of it!. We'll do all the work all you have to do is make an application and then wait for your tax refund cheque.
You may even get your money up front, within a few days of us receiving your claim pack, with our 'Get Paid Now!' service.
Just like everyone else students have to pay tax on their earnings - however unfair that seems. The only thing different about the tax rules governing students is the 'P38(s)' form which relates to summer work only. The P38(s) is available from the tax office or you can ask your employer for it. If you fill out this form, before you start a summer job, you may receive all your pay without any tax being taken off. You have to confirm that you will earn less than the personal allowance for that year (currently £5035) and that you will not work again once you stop your summer job.
Unfortunately there are lots of students that also work part-time or in other holidays as well, which is why they should take the '60 Second Tax Survey' to see if they have a claim.
Our fees are 18%+vat and average refunds are £800. If you need your money transferred into a UK bank account (or overseas one if you've gone off travelling) that's no problem either.
Our new 'Get Paid Now' service means you could get any refund
you are due from
the taxman within 5 days!!
