Claim tax refunds on professional subscriptions, MDU, & travel

Many employed doctors fail to claim tax relief that is due to them, often because of a lack of time or awareness of the issue. We can secure tax refunds on all allowable expenses. The service is offered on a 'No Win No Fee' basis. If we investigate your claim and there is no money owed to you by the Revenue then there is no charge. Where we put you in funds we charge 20%+vat of the money recovered. Tax relief on the following expenses can be recovered:

- professional subscriptions to GMC, BMA, and all other bodies

- professional idemnity insurance such as MDU (Medical Defense Union)

- business mileage where you have used your own car, this can be to a temporary place of work, between sites or out to patients


Tax relief is refunded at your marginal rate of tax - 22% for standard rate, 40% for higher rate tax payers. And we can back date for 6 years, since April 2000. Average refunds are around £650 but we have handed clients cheques for several thousands of pounds.
